Picnic tables and Winter BBQ's

Athena loves books and her stuffed animals. Recently I picked up this picnic table and she really enjoys sitting at it with her animals and 'reading' to them. It's adorable, what a great purchase!

We went over to a friends house tonight (Dec 14th) for a BBQ. Yes, for those of you in the land of snow, we walked over to a friends and had a good ol' fashion outdoor BBQ. No long-johns or jackets necessary. Yeeaahh!!! We finally found something we like about Texas, the Winter!!

Thanksgiving

We had a very busy Thanksgiving, which involved preparing a meal for 7. Ok, so not a huge crowd but more than we've cooked for in quite some time and in our small rental house it was very, let's say 'cozy'. Chris' brother Barry his wife Valerie and their two children Samantha and Kaitlin came over for all the fixins. The three little girls had lots of fun playing together and we had a wonderful time visiting and eating a Turkey dinner. We tried to get some pictures of the three girls together but they just kept giggling. Samantha, the oldest, worked very had at keeping the little ones still. Little girls giggling and squirming, say it isn't so. We are so very thankful to have these little ones in our lives, giggles, squirms and all.

The smile gets ya every time!

Athena is such a happy little girl and jabbers all day long. People are constantly walking up to us and commenting on how cute Athena is. People often go out of their way just to come over and say, "she is soooo cute". I have to tell you she really is that cute "most of the time" and this little smile just melts my heart. Last night when she flashed one of those smiles then blew a kiss Chris said, "we are in sooo much trouble!" - Yes we are!

Some day

I started this blog in mid October but somehow my password got messed up and I had to start all over again. Someday soon I will publish it so that our friends and family will be able to see what we are up to. I have thought about putting in past events but we are sooo busy with all the new adventures I would never be able to get this updated and out so everyone can read it.
